Australian Acoustic Songbook is an instrumental album that celebrates our rich music heritage. The songs form a part of my own life's soundtrack, arranged for acoustic guitar, preserving melody, ambience and respectfully augmenting my own playing style.

As a music genre and concept, the album is 'easy listening' simply presented and open to everyone. Listen at home, with friends and dinner guests, while out for a walk or cruising in your car.

My musical journey began in the early 1960's when The Beatles toured Australia. My father Vincent played guitar and bought me my first musical instrument when I turned six.

Over the years I played in bands, performed solo, recorded and picked up various skills and techniques that helped me along the musical highway.

Each day offers an opportunity to observe, absorb and create. My personal interests are varied. I enjoy interacting with people, music, music and film production, photography and discovering new musical instruments.

I hope you enjoy Australian Acoustic Songbook vol #1 as much as I enjoyed making it.
